They both lay still, their bodies relearning how to breathe normally, as their heartbeats slowed gradually. Alexandra felt her body twitch a few times as she rode the aftershocks of her pleasure, enjoying them also. When she could speak again, she asked, "Are you ever going to get tired?"
She felt his chest rumble as he chuckled from deep in his throat. "Of you? Never!"
"I feel all sticky. We should get up and shower," she observed.
He pushed himself up to hold onto the back of the couch with one hand as he slowly eased his hips away from her, his cock still partly erect as it slid out of her with a pop. He moved further up and grasped her hands to pull her up and off of the couch, before he enfolded her in his arms for a long moment of a bear hug.
She turned her head up questioningly, and looked into his face. Oh my God! Why's he looking at me like that? What the fuck? "Dude," she began with a warning tone in her voice.
The fleeting look that she had seen disappeared so quickly, she decided she had imagined it. "I need a shower and to get dressed before I run some Saturday errands."
He nodded. "I'm going to get some food for tomorrow morning's breakfast."
Her eyes widened. "You are? Why?"
"Because bagels and fruit might be enough for a woman, but I need a more substantial breakfast to keep my strength up. I especially need a massive dose of protein, after all of the bodily fluids I've been producing for you."
She grinned. "Well that's fine--as long as you don't expect me to cook it for you. Boiling water for tea, or making coffee is about all I'm good for in the kitchen. I grew up in a house with a maid and a cook."
He nodded. "That explains the lack of anything edible in your fridge."
At her surprised look he explained. "When you opened it to put the milk and cream cheese away, I glanced into it and wondered what you do for food."
She sniffed. "That's what phones and delivery are for. Or I go out to eat."
"I think I'll get some steaks for dinner also. Do I need to pick up the wine too?"
She shook her head. "Ah--no. I might not have any food ingredients around, but I know a lot about wine. It's one of the things Dad taught me about, so I could impress clients with my savoir faire about vino."
They began to walk down the hall to the huge master bathroom, where there was a shower built for multiple occupancy.
"Remember I told you I want to grab something quick on our way to the biker bars tonight," she began, as she turned on the water to heat it up for their shower.
"Fine. I'll take care of tomorrow's meals. Breakfast and dinner."
"No lunch?"
She was stepping under the water when he pressed himself against her backside, his hands reaching forward to fondle her breasts as he growled at her. "I don't intend to let you out of bed for breakfast until long after the sun comes up. There won't be time for lunch. And after we work that food off, you'll be ready to eat a steak dinner prepared Russian-style."
She sighed as his fingers worked their magic on her again, stroking her insistently, until with a surprised squeak, she came again. "If you don't stop doing that, we'll never get out of here," she chided him.
A slow smile spread across his face. "I'm just making sure you'll be anxious to get back here later tonight."
Her eyebrows rose. "And what if I find a better man in the bar?"
He shook his head. "There is no better man for you." He began to rub her scalp, letting the water soak her head, then applying shampoo and working it into a lather.
As she felt her skin relax under his fingers, she sighed. "You may be right."
Unseen by her, he smiled.

I almost don't even know what to say about this book, other than you should read it right now if you're a fan of erotica or erotic romance. It is quite simply electric, and maybe the most fun you will have reading a book this year. This is the second book in Ms. McGier's Minnesota Romances series - it uses the setting of the first book as a jumping off point, but things diverge quickly from there. Raul and Veronica's story in the first book was beautiful, heartfelt, and relatively straightforward - Alex and Dmitri's story is heartfelt, but it is anything but straightforward. Alex is a sex maniac, hard-drinking biker queen who also happens to be a high-powered executive, and Dmitri is a supremely confident, mysterious Russian stranger who initially seeks her out to 'teach her a lesson' as a favor to a friend. The sparks fly from their explosive first encounter, and things just keep ramping up from there as they get more and more hooked on one another. She doesn't believe one man can ever satisfy her, and he knows he can be everything she needs. Dmitri never tries to change her to get his way, he simply demonstrates to her what he knows to be true in some of the hottest sex scenes I've read, and with such confidence that I had to laugh out loud more than once at his sheer balls. Their relationship is a loud, chaotic, incredibly sexy thrill ride that will keep you turning 'just one more page' way into the night. And as if that was not enough, the pace of the second half is dialed up even more as someone starts coming after Alex's gang, leading to some surprisingly tense and emotional scenes that draw you even further into the story. Ms. McGier's Minnesota Romance series continues to be just amazing with this incredibly spicy second chapter. I can't wait to see what's next!

ONLY ONE MAN WILL DO was a quick and fast paced read. It held my interest from the beginning even though I'm not usually a fan of such steamy books since they take me out of my comfort zone. This book drew me in since there was a story being told and the sex enhanced the storytelling. The main characters had a depth to them and it was interesting to get to know them a little at a time. There were multiple story lines especially since Alexandra is both a business woman, she heads the family company, and a biker queen who has her own gang. The gang is definitely a kinky group that look to her as their leader and there are a couple of sweethearts thrown in.
When a Russian goes to her office to give her a message neither one is ready for the heat they generate. From there things get even hotter since they are both alpha types. Due to her upbringing she only needs a man to fill her needs - or so she thinks. He wants to be the last man she'll ever need. How will that work between them since they both have such strong personalities? There's a little bit of a mystery thrown in that was fairly easy to solve. There's definitely romance, lots of drinking, swearing, food, bike rides and more, crimes committed, injuries and death along with loving and ultimately love. There's a happily ever after and nice closure. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, HER LAST RESORT.
Ms. McGier takes me out of my comfort zone but when the story draws me in, I'm all in. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Alexandra is such a great heroine. She talks like a sailor, drinks anyone and I mean anyone under the table and will screw any and all of the guys in her biker gang. She has the “playroom” at her getaway farm to prove it. She never thought marriage and love were for her. She saw her parents marriage crumble and vowed to never be “owned” by a man or let a man get close enough. Sex was just fine for her short and long-term. Enter the biggest, baddest and sweetest ex-KGB agent that knocks her for a loop. All of sudden she can’t get enough of him sexually or otherwise. Like the blurb warns you…she won’t give up her other men and Dmitri doesn’t share.
My Dmitri, my Dmitri…you had your work cut out for you with the taming of the wildcat named Alexandra or Shaska. *sigh* There were times that I really wanted to wrap my arms around you and tell that once Alexandra figured it out, everything would be okay. The one scene in the book that made me love you FOREVER was at the gathering at the farm. You stood up to her and yes, humiliated her but she needed to see that you were serious. Of course, she paid the price during the night and the next morning but she needed that to truly show her that you meant business.
What was interesting was the suspense element at the end of the book. I honestly didn’t figure it out until it was revealed and I was shocked by all of it. I didn’t expect it and I’m still crying over it. One thing it did was show the tremendous character growth of Alexandra. She needed the jolt in her life and she finally figured out what was missing and how much she had short-changed herself in the long run.
I need to warn you peeps that this book has a lot and I mean a lot of sex in it. These two can not get enough of each other. That said, it’s not overly graphic in nature. Sure they are bunnies but there is a point to it. For me, too much sex takes away from the story but for Alexandra its an extension of who she is now in her life and it made sense. Dmitri’s goal was to tame her and in some ways he did but he never changed her. Alexandra had to finally come to grips with issues that she had in her life and Dmitri was there to catch her and support her.
I could go on about this book but I must stop. You really, really need to read it. Be warned…lots of cussing, sex and taming of a redheaded wildcat. Plus, you might cry at the end and then cheer.
Oh and there is an epilogue! Woot!!!! I literally dropped my Kindle when I read it. Perfect wrap up and yes, Ivan’s next. LOL!
