Rachel Tocket and Kaminari Matsuyama are teenagers who have a lot in common. Both are exceptional soccer players, and enjoy the arts. Rachel is a dancer, Kami a painter. When they start 9th grade at different high schools, they learn why the teenage years are like a wild storm. They both experience the same stresses: cruel classmates, gossip, jealousy, and boys with one-track minds.
