The Pugs are back in a new adventure! Freedom Pugs by Lela LaBree Stute is a fantastic tale of three pugs who do not want to go back to school. Summer break is over and they decide to take off on an adventure instead of heading to class. Boy did they find themselves in a mess!
Freedom Pugs is a story that young readers can relate to. We all know how hard it can be for kids to adjust from the fun of Summer, back to the hustle and bustle of the school year. This book gives the impression that “school is cool”, and bad things can happen if they don’t go and follow the rules. It teaches a valuable lesson in a fun way. I give Freedom Pugs five stars*****.

This book is so fun. Isn't it just like kids to not plan anything through, just like the pugs do. No planning for their vacation, they just go. Nothing seemed to go right. When you read these book, you actually don't even think of the pugs as dogs, you think of them as humans. They go through the same life situations as we do. I just love the humor in the book and the adventure of their travel. They should have gone to school like they were suppose to have and maybe things would have gone o.k.! ha! Very good reading and beautiful photography.
