I am not one to write reviews on books but I will make an exception for Bayou Chase. Forgive me for not writing in a formal format.
From the very beginning of this book you are drawn into the authors description of an attack that seems to be warranted. You feel for the wife who did nothing wrong and is subjected to a horrific scene with a man that has no boundaries. What would a husband do in this circumstance? I know what we would all like to do but is it the right thing to do and what are the consequences of those actions?
I know that I looked forward to each page turn. I wasn't always rooting for the main character but I was intrigued and curious as to what would happen next.
I really liked the authors style of writing. I also liked that the author didn't fill a lot of pages with unnecessary content just to add 100 pages to his novel.
I would definitely recommend this book. However, do not start reading it right before bedtime. You will want to finish it in one sitting.
