Then he thought, He left Lisa for this? Shontel blurted out, “Can you save a dance for me?” Very flirtatious, not caring that her “man” was standing right next to her. Collin looked at her with disgust and embarrassment. Michael wrapped his arms around Lisa. “I’m sorry but I promised my undivided attention to my beautiful woman here.” Shontel’s face dropped. “You’re with her?” “Yes, the light of my life.” He bent over and kissed Lisa on the corner of her lips. “You ready?” “Yes,” Lisa managed to murmur in a sigh of relief. As Michael and Lisa vanished onto the crowded dance floor, Collin turned to Shontel. “You are a damn idiot.” Shontel leaned in towards him, almost eye to eye, and responded, “An idiot that got you by the balls.” Collin responded, “You have the upper hand for now but don’t push it. So you can save that tough guy act for someone else.” He felt a strong urge to strangle her right then but he had already lost too much over her. He had to remain calm for now.

Then, in comes famous R&B singer, Michael Fontaine, who is smitten with Lisa from the moment they meet at a casino when her divorce became final. Michael and Lisa hit it off immediately, but she is hesitant to get into a relationship with Michael for fear of getting hurt again. Just when things start looking up for Lisa and Michael, Collin comes back in the picture and threatens to destroy the relationship they have built.

CAN'T LET GO is the kind of book you can see happening in real life. The relationships were real. The story line was incredible. There are issues that come from dealing with relationships and the drama of divorce. CAN'T LET GO was able to hold my attention from the very first sentence. I could see myself as one of the characters in this book or this story happening to someone in real life. It was a quick read for me and hard to put down until the end.

Great Book!!
this book is fantastic!!!!! it was written sooo very honestly and it really speaks to real-life situations. everything that happens, isn't beyond the real world at all. i recommend everyone to buy this book... i was done in like 2 days reading it! i hope it turns into a movie!

Loved this book
I completely loved it. This book speaks to all of us everyday people who love, cry, have doubts and fears but push past the troubles to reach our goals. The characters are sincerely real people, with real issues who have heart. This book will make you talk out loud to it & yourself while reading it. I'm telling you, I got into it & I know you will too. Can't Let Go is a well written piece that includes love, family, faith & fun (all the things that make a good day worth it). If you want a good book to sit back & enjoy, do yourself a favor & pick up a copy of Can't Let Go.
