“This is it?” she heard Jim give out as he opened the front door to their new house. “Yes honey, this is it.” She answered. “But mom, we can’t live here!” “ where are the flowers, the trees, why is it so dark in here?” he asked almost in tears. “Jim” Nan began with tears rolling down her cheeks, “this is the best I can do for now – it will get better.” Jim didn’t know how to react. He was only ten years old- he walked over to the couch and sat for a moment.
