Vampyre Kisses has been selected to join my list of favorite books. It's a wonderfull book that explains in detail the supernatural world of a witch, vampire, werewolf , shap-shifter and more. Elizabeth did an amazing job at painting a picture with words in her story. I loved the plot because it was funny, mysterious, and continued to surprise me. I loved Faith because of her sassy attitude and how she took control of situation although she has no idea why or how she has done so. I especially LOVE Trent. He's such a lovenly protector that i wouldn't mind having him around. Over all this book captured my interest from the beginning to the end and i enjoyed reading every page until the end. The way it ended seemed to me as there will be a sequel, in which i will get asap! I recommened this book.
Faith is a young women who has an average job, with an average aparatment in the city. You can say she's average. Her has passed away and she loved him dearly. She has her mom, but is not that closed to her. Overall, she has a boring life. That's until she learns the truth about her father, the secrests of her mother and a huge secret about herself. While all this chaos begins and in the middle of it all, she meets Trent and is falling for him, but can she trust him after everything she knew turns out to be something else?
You HAVE to read this book, it's amazing.!

Someone has stolen the gem of the werewolves and the gem of the vampires. They know there is a war brewing and so some werewolves and vampires form an alliance to get the gems back. In the middle is Faith, a human who learns she is a witch, a vampire Trent whom she falls in love with, and Zou Tai, a werewolf who has some feeling for Faith. Together they must figure out who took the gems and why they were stolen. Faith and Trent go to Gordon who sees that Faith is the answer to what is to come. She finds out that not only was her father in love with a vampire but her mother is a slayer and truly evil. Morgan, who was in love with Faith's father, and Trent take Faith to someone who can help her come into her powers. She will need all he can teach her for the battle ahead.
As a fan of the paranormal genre I was very much interested to read this book. The story engrossed me from the first page and didn't let go even at the end. The author painted pictures through the storyline that you could actually see in your mind's eye: “Faith’s hair blew back while her emerald eyes grew milky. The invisible wind came from Faith, not the earth, and swirled around her like a tornado.” There are several minor characters that are enjoyable like Zou Tai and Gordon. Knowing at the end of the book that there is a next one on the horizon is the icing on the cake. Anyone who enjoys paranormals will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Book review time! Today’s book is Vampyre Kisses, the debut novel by Elizabeth J. Kolodziej. I’ll admit it, when I saw the book the first thought that crept into my head was “great, another cliché unoriginal vampire love story.” But boy was I wrong, so very very wrong.
A few pages into reading I came across something shocking – good writing. This may not seem like a big deal, but I assure you, it’s very impressive for a first time writer (trust me). Then, as I continued reading I learned something very quickly, that this wasn’t another “boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy is a vampire” kind of blah story. Kolodziej created a mystical tale full of magic and mystery. It’s a fascinating world, completely unique compared to the cookie cutout worlds most vampire authors use.
The best part, Vampyre Kisses isn’t just a simple story; it’s a whole new universe. A universe full of not only humans and vampires, but werewolves, gods, witches and more. Kolodziej certainly did her research; she mixes fiction with real historical facts and folklore perfectly. The story takes place in a vast and imaginative setting that any reader will be happy to get lost in. You’ll instantly get sucked into Faith’s new life as a witch, her budding relationships with vampire Trent and werewolf Z.T. and their epic quest to save the races.
If it isn’t obvious, this book is a new favorite of mine – it’s one of those fast paced, action packed books that keeps you so interested that you can’t help but want more. Elizabeth J. Kolodziej definitely has the goods to make it big in the publishing world.
So if you’re sick of the same old boring vampire stories full of brooding vegetarian vamps and helpless pathetic human girls, then I highly recommend picking up Elizabeth J. Kolodziej’s Vampyre Kisses for a real magical vampire story.
