Continuation with the thoughts on our various adventures of sorrow , joy , love and courage in facing what life has to offer.
We follow the highways that are up ahead
and leave our trail behind.
We're unaware of where the highways lead
and we know that we shall find
adventure, love, sorrow and pain.
But we're bold and still remain
forging ahead
one step at a time,
breaking the barriers we have to climb.

THE MYSTERY
There should be no mystery
to why we're here.
We've made this journey
to overcome fear.
Not easy you say,
I know.
But all of this fear
will eventually go.
And when it does
we'll find we're at peace
and able to release
the things that made us afraid.
We worry ourselves sick
over each and every act.
And we're in over our heads
and can't turn back.
The only way out is acceptance and faith
that what you believe
and what you say
will free you from fear
on every single day
that you find yourself here.
Then the mystery
will likely be clear.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
