Revenge, after thirty years, revenge, he thought. Plunging his foot on the fuel pedal he drove straight into the barricade screaming "Erin go Braugh." On impact the wood barricade splintered in all directions and the car spun like a child's top, the steering wheel ramming into Ian's chest. Vomit gushed from his mouth, exploding into the car, his pants soaked with piss. Sputtering rifle fire ack-ack-ack-ack. Blinding strobe lights were flashing in his face, then complete blackness.
Dublin 1941. A brutal murder. Mistaken identity. And barman Eamon Foley is running for his life.
