Life is changing for Arryn Walsh and she isn't convinced it is in a good way. She recently celebrated her 43rd birthday which would have been okay except for the part where her husband announced he was leaving her for some little arm-charm from his office. She's just returned from the doctor who informed her she was in the beginning of something called perimenopause. She wasn't sure exactly what that was but from the symptoms she was experiencing it didn't seem like something she would jump up and down about. As if she didn't have enough to cope with, she meets a small woman of about 3 feet tall who tells her she is some kind of Chosen One and is expected to go restore the Cosmic Balance or some such nonsense.
