What If…?
What if we were nothing more than a dream,
Within the mind of a being greater than we
Or what if we were just a thought,
In the mind of the creator of all you see
What if all that we have ever known to be reality,
Was just the imagination of some Supreme Being
What if our lives were nothing more than stage productions.
Designed to entertain the inhabitants of an alien world
What if the earth stood still, for just one day
Would time seem long Longer than usual.
What if something went up, but never came down
Wouldn’t that seem strange
What if there was someone,
Who believed all of this to be true
What if there was someone,
Who thought that red was blue
What if gravity just ceased to exist,
And we all floated away
What if the darkness was conquered,
And we had one eternal day
What if the wind refused to blow,
And the stars refused to glow
What if we didn’t really exist
