This is a Book that is based on the journey to travel in time and fix the wrongs in the history of the world and make them right.

Shortly after his graduation from high school in the 1960's, Jason Grego rejects offers of work in the family business.  He is ambitious, and wants to pursue his own dreams and find his own destiny.  From early childhood he has been interested in science, and history, especially in time machines, and changing the history of mankind for the better.

He takes a few days off to visit his grandfather's cabin in the mountains.  One day while hiking on the mountain, he comes across a stranger.  They talk and decide to walk together.  After climbing half way up the mountain, they come across a cave, in which they find an elderly woman who is dying. She talks with them for a while, and then motions for Jason to come closer to her.  She's holding a unique amulet in her hands which she gives to Jason, telling him he would realize his destiny if he wears the amulet.  Then to Jason's amazement, both the old woman, and the stranger fades away and disappears.

On one of his journeys, his boat capsizes and he discovers Atlantis. Following his visit to Atlantis, Jason finds himself treading water to save his own life.  He is seen by a passing ship and picked up by its crew.  To his amazement, the crew is made up of famous men in history.  He sees George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln, but because he is exhausted, he collapses.  When he comes to, he finds himself in sickbay with Frederick Douglass, a well-known abolitionist, by his side.  They talk every day, until Jason is strong enough to get up, and take on his own daily duties.  Jason enjoys listening and talking about true historic events.

All of the ship's crew members are anxious to give Jason advice on how to change events in history.  They also hate the wars and violence of their time, and wish they could have changed it.  Later, he is taken to the inner part of the great ship.  There he finds a long hall of doors.  Each door has a small symbol that represented some portion of history.

In his travels, Jason finds danger, excitement, love, and fulfillment all rolled up in one. He eventually finds peaceful solutions to all the doors of history.  He changes history from war and violence to peace and tranquility, before he is returned safely to his home and family.

Excerpt

IT WAS A VERY COLD brisk morning, the trees swayed as the wind blew them back and forth. While sitting on a tree stump, I saw a jackrabbit hop across the distance. Snow flew off his paws to mark his territory. It was very beautiful and placid sight; all of these things were the vision of a blinding, white paradise. The animals were a heavenly sight; they were symbols of love given to us by God.

Walking peacefully in the woods, I found some firewood to build a fire. I also found some rocks and proceeded to build the foundation for a fire, then took some paper out of my backpack, and lit them up, getting the fire started. As the evening encroached, enveloping the snowy landscape in soft hues of orange and rose, followed by velvety indigo darkness, the fire light was beautiful and comforting. So I curled up in my sleeping bag and went to sleep.

While reaching a deep sleep, many thoughts came to me. Many great men in this country enjoyed their role in life. They found it through the power of believing in themselves.

Thomas Edison, who definitely benefited the world with his invention of the light bulb, made a lasting impression in my mind. Many other men that have passed on gave the world motivation to find their own roles in life. Hours of thinking went by on this issue.

Morning came, I woke up shivering, and my nose was very cold. After rolling my sleeping bag up and grabbing my backpack, I walked home. Soon after my arrival, I went directly to the fireplace to warm my body. My Mom, very plump and with rosy colored cheeks asked,

"Do you want some hot chocolate to warm your insides?"

"Yes ma'am!" I said.

The wind blew very hard outside. After doing many things during the day for the family, I decided to go to my room and occupy myself. While walking toward my room Mom yelled,

"Jason, you need to go speak with that medical college recruiter."

"Alright, I will at least talk to him." I said.

My mother wanted me to be a doctor, so I could take care of her when she got old. She always forced the issue because my grades in high school were above average. My father, who is a very large man, wanted me to take over the ranch after he was unable to do it. Aunt Mary wanted me to be the manager of the restaurant business she owned, which I highly detested. So I was faced with many people wanting me to do what they wanted, and not what I wanted. All these people in my family made me feel stronger; in my heart, it was hard to find my place in life. Soon after it was time
for bed. After giving my Mom a hug, I walked up to my room and immediately jumped in bed and drifted off to sleep.

While dreaming, I saw a forest, which was filled with white personages. Oddly, all the animals were talking with each other. The sky was beautiful and the air so crisp that it felt good to my lips. I walked a few more feet and saw two very tall and spacious buildings, which were separated by a pond. The water in the pond was very clean and clear. The buildings, which had white paint and gold trim on them, were a heavenly sight. My curiosity got the best of me, so I walked over to the building on the left. The gate to the building was made of pure, solid gold; the door inside was the same. A white curtain surrounded. While walking further the golden door opened. A sight beyond what anybody could imagine was in front of me. There were many beautiful women and very few men amongst the group of people. The environment was very placid and relaxing. There were many fruits and meats of all kinds on the table. The ceiling was painted with the image of what we know as God. He was wearing a red robe and his eyes were looking down on everyone. All the walls were painted with children playing. Someone motioned me to go outside and meet with one of the other personages.

After pondering these things, a very beautiful woman grabbed my shoulder and we walked outside. A few yards in the distance, there was a cave that looked very dark and dreary. Afraid of the unknown, I cautiously followed along. We entered the cave and saw a very old woman whose eyes were filled with sorrow and wisdom. This elderly woman had a very pleasant smile; she motioned me to come closer to her. She grabbed my hand and sat me down beside her and said to me,

"There is something I want you to see after we talk for a while."

The woman's name was Sarah; she had wrinkled skin, and very beautiful white hair. Water from a spring was peaceful to hear, as it ran down the walls of the cave. I could hear girls laughing in the background over the way, as I looked over the surroundings.

"Sarah, why have you brought me here to this cave?" I asked.

"You were chosen before you were born to save some of the lost children of God. We are going to the other side, and we will look at the building on the right, this will better inform you of what I am talking about." Sarah said.

Sarah and I walked out of the cave to the same heavenly sight. She started walking to the left, so I follow her. We soon reached the pond and to my surprise, the pond really was not a pond. I looked down to where the water was and saw outer darkness. We could hear people screaming and begging for help. Sarah knew I wanted to help them.
