Rissa looked up at him and then over to Detective Stone. Det. Stone hadn't said anything since the introductions were made, but the way he watched her was unnerving. He had a stillness about him that made you realize he was taking in every word, every detail. Even as he stayed on the edges of the converstation, you felt as if he were the one in control of the meeting. And though the man had hardly said a word, he was the dominant presence in the room.
Ursula Gorman certainly brings her characters to life in Old Acquaintances! She weaves a perfect blend of mystery, suspense, and romance. The readers will be captivated by the "good guys" while trying to figure out who is creating all the deadly terror!
