“Man, this is a far cry from the days of walking into the warm Philadelphia Bulletin building and getting off on the third floor and walking to my desk in the sports department. Damn, I miss those days when I was the toast of the Philadelphia sports Journalism circles.”
Now, he was riding the wind past the windows of the various stages of his life. Stormy winds can either push you back in life, or propel you forward in life. Justin saw himself as a blooming flower and then disappearing after a season of success. He breathed in the bitter air of his frigid Philadelphia existence showing him his life was in the winter of his despair.
He smiled.
He laughed.
He hurt.
He cried.
Justin hovered, in his imagination, and pushed his nose against the window panes and saw his images of success and his images of failures on his journey through life.
Justin was now in a wind of change that took his mind and body on a journey back to the day the Philadelphia Bulletin closed and he spent the last day writing his high school sports column and walking down the long corridor that emptied onto Broad Street and his present discordant life of a street walker.
