Andy is a conscientious inner city schoo teacher who gets involved sexually with a pupil of his. He is anxious about the relationship and he is also addicted to the sexual sensations. Andy Meriwether, 36, is a divorced teacher who is struggling with students who seem to be uninterested in learning and hell-bent on sabotaging his efforts to make them learn. He also remembers that his divorced wife experienced the intense pleasures of love making with him. And she divorced him. What does love mean then? Would there be such thing as true love? What about his alcoholic father who loved him but committed suicide? What about his mother's bottomless love for him?
All his relationships begin to crumble down around him. He delves into his parents' relationship and their love for him and wants to understand how he came to such an anguished and pain-filled life. On the brink of ending his life, he comes to an understanding of his father's despairing life. And he realizes that he has an obligation to raise his daughters better so they won't become like him.

Climbing on her, I focus my nerves on the swollen cells of the crown. I rock her, rock her, and push it in as deep as I can. My body begins to enter the plane of sheer sensations. Right before the cells flare open and the surging sperms take over my being, I am floating in a state of boundless exhilaration--the acute sensory awareness of a cliff diver turning, twisting, and swishing in the air before plunging into the water with imploding bubbles.
