The creator of The Black History Calendar and African American creates a furor over the n word, the most disquieting racial epithet in American History!

Johnny Duncan dared to use "NIGGER" in the title of his book when it was not fashionable to do so.  In the decade or so since publication, bashing the "N" word has become popular.  After Duncan embraced it, Rush Limbaugh has lambasted him; Michael Baisden and Tom Joyner have mocked him; and the NAACP has buried it.  But, NIGGER is alive and well because it yet lives.  Duncan defined it a method of unfair and discriminatory treatment whose parameters are not determined by race, religion, national origins, sexual preferences and etcetera.

Shortly after it release in 1998, a reviewer for "The African American" wrote:

"THIS BOOK TAKES THE PULSE OF THE NATION. BUT, WE                     (AFRICAN-AMERICANS, HISPANICS, CAUCASIAN, ETC.) MUST SHED OUR HYPOCRITICAL MASKS AND DEAL WITH THE MEANING OF THE "N" WORD SOONER OR LATER. PROFESSOR DUNCAN DOES IT SOONER!"

Remember the adage, "You can't judge a book by its cover"?  Few people took this advice. This is probably the best book  that many people have never read. Aside from being a book of prophecy, it got the author ticket by the police, thrown in jail and was the subject of  two federal lawsuits in which Duncan prevailed. (Google Johnny Duncan ACLU and wesawthat).

Professional Reviews

A. C. Director of Marketing
"...Unfortunately, we cannot prepare and produce the material sent to us. There are many reason, but the major one is not the tone but the use of the "N" word and other expletives as well as material we consider licentious..."

The African American
"This book takes the pulse of the nation. But, we (Africa Americans, Hispanics, Caucasian, etc.) must shed our hypocritical masks and deal with the meaning of the "N" word sooner or later. Professor Duncan does it sooner!"

David Duke
"Well! If it ain't Johnny Duncan, my best friend on the LSU campus!"
