This story shows the readers how to let go of fear feelings like prejudice, resentment, panic, etc. that block their true nature of being loving, kind, and confident. It has been used by the author in speaking engagements, and classes. A related prototype board game of the same name was used in a high school with excellent results. The students loved the idea of competing with negative feeeling like "Priscilla Prejudice,Wally Worry, Reggie Resentment, Andy Anger, and others, rather than competing against the other players. It is a game of cooperation in helping players overcome negative, disabling reactions. The illustrated book and game will be early published 2011. More details are available at my website:

The Unrealy Feelies story and related board game prototypes have been used in schools and other venues over several years. Teachers and psychologists have recommended it and the game received enthusiatic responses from the high school students who used it.
Cartoon characters are used to depict disabling feelings, like "Peter and Priscilla Prejudice, Reggie Resentment, Victor Vengeance, and Bejamin Blame". This entertaining, non-threatening format for looking at our feelings makes it easier to replace them with our true nature of love, understanding. patience, and compassion. It is a rhyming story with colorful illustrations.

Teacher review by the late Jihn Caldwell
"Dear Frank,
I have been using your Unrealy Feelies game in my algebra classes periodically, and the students reactions have been very favorable!
By interspersing my math challenge cards with your game cards (I took your suggestion not to call them "problems") many of the kids who were likely to be afraid of the "Math Moster" were able to relax and enjoy learning some algebra.
As you know from our discussions, whenever the learning process can be fun instead of a drag, it is highly effective. But you've added another dimension to the game that is even more important I believe.and that is the teaching of positive values, cooperation and positive self-image.
The kids were asking me where they can buy the game and also the Unrealy Feely T-shirt you gave me! I hope you have good luck in finding someone to manufacture and market them for you.
Sincerely,
John Caldwell,Chairman

"Dear Frank. We have finished our accelerated education Summer Workshops and I used the Unrealy Feelies game as part of my methods for creating a receptive atmosphere for the students. They enjoyed the idea of playing a game and were impressed with the concepts that encouraged communication and cooperation between the players.
I think your game has great potential in both the educational and entrertainent markets. The class immediately reacted to the colorful board with all the unusual places ike "Fearful Fog" and "Gleeful Glen". The cartoon characters stimulated their curiosity, too.
Since I counsel "trouble" students and invariably found that they are beautiful people with a poor self image, I am especially pleased with the game's emphasis on competing only with our own negative feelings instead of "the other guy". The students liked the idea that all the players were "winners". I think you have a "winner" with this game, Frank. Someday, I hope it will be available to order for the whole school! Keep in touch.
Sincerely yours,
Sam W. Borst"
