THE VOYGE OF LIFE

The voyage of life on which you now sail

Will allow you to see just how you can prevail

Sometimes your ship may seem to have no sail

When storms and winds are on your tail

You must remember that the Master of the sea never fails

The days often seem endless so you forget details

But gazing at the ocean stretch there is no time to bewail

Life goes on whether you like or not the sea has whales

And who has the wit to propel the ship to sail

Away from the path of those killer whales

The ship of life goes sailing on ocean or on sea

And everyday collects passengers whether bond or free

No question asked until you arrive at the quay

When passport and ticket is a requirement no plea

You realise then how well you did pack since you cannot flee

What wisdom is required to prepare for a voyage like this

Especially realising this trip you cannot afford to miss

Your thoughts must be earnest without a single twist

Misusing others could send your boat to the abyss

So trusting and serving will land you in the oasis

Then what a joy when life's voyage is over

When you realise that you have just crossed over

Looking back at the swollen dreadful tide

You learn that you were never alone on this ride
