There is hard truth in some of them, and a fond embrace of feline innocence in her homage to Pinky and the Gang. In between, Bellucci delivers a riot of experiences. She favors a mix, and that is what stands between these covers.

I've read all of Ms. Bellucci's books and have enjoyed them greatly. Brasil, Shanghai, Rome, San Francisco... This collection of stories builds on some of those works, and what a pleasure! Although each story stands on it own, coming across an old familiar character from one book or another is like running into an old friend; tell me, what are you up to these days? And then there are new characters and settings, completely unexpected and amazing tales from their lives. I don't like cats much so I was prepared to plough through the cat stories, but in fact Ms. Bellucci describes them as having so much personality that I felt envious and sorry there wasn't more about them. (Please keep writing for your public, Ms. B.) I urge you to buy and read this book.
