onging for Kayla was a great read. I really liked the characters. Chris frustrated me for a while because he could not accept his feelings for his best friend at first. This story had plenty of deep emotions that were very genuine. Everybody had been denying their feelings for years and years because nobody wanted to risk their friendship with each other. The new ménage had to deal with reality after they were isolated at a cabin. The dose of reality gives everything a more genuine feeling. I would recommend this story to people who enjoy ménage titles. I will definitely be looking at other novels by this author.

In the story Longing for Kayla, Kayla, Jesse and Chris are longtime friends who enjoy a good beer and hanging out together. But they secretly long for more than friendship. When Kayla suddenly dumps her boyfriend on her birthday, she is surprised that what she will not do with her boyfriend she wants to do with her best friends. Her confession sets into motion the spark to the desire which has been burning between these friends. Will they survive the benefits they all want to explore and the secrets which will be revealed?
I really enjoyed this story of friendship and love. Chris and Kayla have been in love for many years but feared so many things that they created a great friendship instead which shows in the kindness and comfort they show and find in each other. Jesse is not a third wheel in this story but a key player whose love for Kayla and Chris is bone deep and very sensual. When their feelings are turned into actions they enjoy heightening their passion with voyeurism and sex talk. Their sexual cravings for each other are intense and explore new areas of their sexuality. Kayla and Jesse push Chris to accept a side of himself he has denied. You will enjoy this wonderful tale of friendship and deep love which has no boundaries. You will want to read this story many times as I did before writing this review. Enjoy!

Longing For Kayla by Lauren Fraser was a delicious journey into the world of ménage, sexuality, and love. The book begins with Kayla going to see her two best friends on her birthday after dumping yet another in a long line of losers who she seems to date. Jesse and Chris have been harboring secret feelings, although who has feeling for whom becomes a surprise as the story unfolds. As Kayla learns that her two best friends actually love her, the two men in her life also learn that they love and want each other in a physical way as well.
From the beginning of the story, Ms. Fraser demonstrates that she is a pro at describing erotic sexual encounters in a manner that is both red hot as well as emotionally charged. As steamy as the love scenes are, and there are many of them, they are packed with raw emotions filled with exploration and self-discovery for all three main characters.
As they jump full force into a trio of love and lust, they are also taking a huge risk, for if things worked out badly, it wouldn’t be just a failed attempt at an unconventional relationship, but the loss of a tightly knit best friendship between three highly likable characters.
What I enjoyed most was the balance between the emotions of the three characters and the role of sex in this erotic novella. Too often, sex is included in stories, but does not always serve as a vehicle to move the story and plot forward. What Ms. Fraser has done in Longing For Kayla is interweave the two elements in an powerful and effective manner.
True to Ellora’s Cave style, this book will scorch your eyes, but it will also do so much more for you as well. I highly recommend this as a wonderful story to read in the cold winter season, curled up in a blanket by a fire, or preferably, resting in the arms of your significant other. You’ll be eager to release your pent up tension once you complete the last page.
