With the evolution of the reptilian brain we had an intense new bodily awareness. Out of this arose self-centered competition that drove us to be selfi shly inconsiderate of other living beings. Our suffering is our growing pains, as we outgrow our lizard-brained ways. At the right time, God sent us the Buddha to introduce us to one another with a new
consciousness. Through compassion, we are aware of each other in a way that will keep us from destroying ourselves. Buddha introduced us to Interpersonal consciousness. Again, when the time was right, God sent Jesus to introduce us to Transpersonal Consciousness. Now we are aware that
our Highest self is our unifi ed Collective Consciousness, and
that the way we live our lives contributes to what we (want to)
believe (explicitly and implicitly) Humanity is all about. The teachings of Jesus are an obvious continuation and expansion of the Buddha’s message to us. May we no longer be divided
over trivial issues when our Love for each other is the only thing that can unite us. To unite in Love is to ignite Loves Light. If God is Love, then Love is God. And if Love is God, then Love is Life. Thank You for making me aware of Love.
