Entering the large suite, she searched for any sign of her date. Madame Evangeline hadn’t given her any details, only that she would meet him at the hotel. Her stomach had been twisted in knots all day thinking of the possibilities. She found no one else in the room, but a welcome card sat on the king-size bed beside a box of chocolates.
Dear Tamara,
Your date for the evening will arrive soon. Please make yourself comfortable while you wait. A word of advice; don’t be afraid to show him the real you.

If only we learned to love ourselves as Tamara and Josh do, we would be so much happier. Beneath a Starry Sky renewed my faith in finding a perfect match no matter what we look like. I would love to think that there is someone out there for everyone to love, who accepts them as they are and finds them sexy and valuable. That is the powerful message of Beneath a Starry Sky.

Josh is a big shot movie star who has tried Madam Evangeline's service and it backfired. He has no intention of being with a woman given the scars he bears from his scalp down to his back. So is it a mistake Madam Evangeline sent Tamara to his hotel room?
Goodness, I loved this story so much. It doesn't have Jessica's usual sci-fi flare, but it doesn't make this any less exciting. Our leads are almost combustible together. They both have there share of scars and don't feel right in their own skin. When they find out they both have things to hide, it brings them closer together quicker. I won't lie, I cried a little because I thought it was just beautiful. They accept each other and they don't treat the other like a freak or a monster.
This was so beautifully written. And as I said, not sci-fi, but I loved the final scene when they went to Josh's favorite.place under the stars. You definitely see and feel the magic. This was only 28 pages long, but it was touching and profound. So if you want a sweet amd very sexy short read, add this to your collection right now. You won't be sorry.
