Once upon a time in our childhood, we always carry and cherish a favorite blanket, a stuffed toy or a huggable pillow. This habit gives us joy, peace and a sense of comfort and so a hotdog pillow. In this picture book, a girl narrates and describes her day to day activity with her hotdog pillow. Let us turn each page as we go to places she likes to visit. Like an imaginary friend, a hotdog pillow is always there in times of joy and sorrow. Known as bolsters worldwide, hotdog pillows are common and popular among children and adults in Asian countries, particularly the Philippines. With colorful printed sheets and textures, I experienced and enjoyed the joy and comfort of hotdog pillows on one of my vacation trips in the Philippines. I dedicate this book to all who own a hotdog pillow.
