While on Vacation, Kensey Harris, her brother, and new friend, William Jentry discover an old, crumbling well. Dared to enter first, Kensey finds herself transported to Mundus, a world full of mythical creatures wehre she befriends a Fairy named Marcus, who informs her soon after that because of the magic of the well, she cannot return home for six years. As she is adjusting to her new life and her new family, she crosses paths with the mysterious Hooded Figure, a sinister presence who bodes evil and has been stalking her since the day she arrived. A few weeks later, her best friend is killed, and she is given the opportunity to travel to the Kingdom in the Sky to retrieve his soul and, if the Almighty allows it, to give him a second chance at life. Will she make it? Or will her journey end disastrously at the hands of the malignant Hooded Figure in revenge for infecting his world with Humans?
