What a wonderful book! As a space shuttle astronaut, I was blessed to experience space from a very unique perspective. But my passion didn’t end at the last “Wheel Stop” call. As it is for many of us, there’s a gene in my Being that continues to command me to look up and wonder. With The Complete Space Buff’s Bucket List I now have a new resource to map my way back into space. I can roam through distant galaxies via the Hubble Space Telescope (Bucket List item 65). Item 59 will allow me to stroll on Mars and our other planetary neighbors. Reading Carl Sagan’s Cosmos warp-speeds me back to the beginning of time (item 100). But there are so many other waypoints on the journey and Loretta Hall’s book has succinctly provided the coordinates for those stops. See you in space! Loretta's The Complete Space Buff's Bucket List: 100 Space Things to Do before You Die is an excellent list of exciting and worthwhile things to do in your lifetime, either alone or with your family or friends. While many will be familiar with some of the items on the list, many of the items are not so familiar. So her "bucket list" can easily serve as a valuable tool for us all as we engage in different, new, and exciting events, visit places, and strive to learn new things in our lifetimes. I recommend this book and the magical 100 items on the list for everyone regardless of age, space experience, or knowledge. Her list is universal.
