Maddy learned a good lesson that day. Even if someone is new or different, it can be okay. Maddy realized that because they were so different, she was able to save Scooter when he needed her. He was tiny and got stuck. She was big and able to move the bed. He was scared when he fell. She was able to snuggle with him and make him feel comforted.
Maddy and Scooter now appreciate their differences and have become best friends. They even snuggle on the couch and watch TV together!
