I know of travel writers who’ve been on wine and beer cruises on a historic schooner in the Puget Sound’s Salish Sea, stayed in numerous resort hotels, lodges and plush B & Bs, and attended exciting film festivals and action packed western rodeos. And winery tours, brewery tours, and eagle-watching raft trips are not uncommon for travel writers who’ve figured out how to convert their assignments into travel collateral.
