In Vietnam war, during the tour of duty, the  young US pilot fell in love with a beautiful Vietnamese girl. While she was being pregnant, his chopper was shot down in battle field, then he was arrested by enemy. Viet Cong took the prisoner from southern to north through Ho chi Minh trails. After the Paris conference signoff on January 27, 1973, under the prisoner exchange scheme, he returned homeland but being serious mental health by the bad treat of Viet Cong, total the memory lost.

   When he recovered, came back to Vietnam finding his girl de-facto and unknown child. Unfortunately, a bandit group linking with Viet Cong Regime robbed, they beated and taken the luggage.

   Celebrating the Great affairs, the gang leader discovered a photo in wallet was his mother beside the US soldier, then he ran to hospital to see father, an unknow reunion.
