Cortez called Tonya out on several hidden truths concerning their relationship. Tonya had very dark secrets that were jeopardizing her connection with her friends. Tonya had hidden pertinent information from the ones that loved her most. As guilt ate away at her for the undeserving position she placed her friends in, she uncovered facts of what led to the ongoing life threatening sequences.
As the final confrontation between Tonya and Cortez escalates to the point of him finally getting his hands on her, he left her stripped of her pride and dignity.
Lucky for Tonya, her friends decided to be there for her. Tonya considered them to be guardian angels for rescuing her from the clutch of Cortez’s atrocious grip. While Tonya was checked into the hospital in critical condition, Cortez was waiting patiently at the home of one of Tonya’s friends.
At the shock of the friend discovering Cortez in her home, more drama unfolds. The friend swiftly and abruptly brings all the tragic excitement to a halt. The ending may be a true surprise when one of the friends is stricken with de ja vu.

"You all need to get to the hospital," Tonya's mom, Dana said. "They called my phone as a primary contact. Something about the car she was in being hit and a man beat her unconscious. She is in critical condition. They told me she is on life support. They need family or someone to be there. I got Eliza and Charlotte finishing up at the shop for me. I'm on my way down there now."
"Okay," Tonya said. "Me and Grayson are in Midtown anyway, so we will be there in less than ten minutes. See you there. Call me if they call you back."
"I will. Just hurry. I love you," said Tonya's mom.
"I love you too mom," Tonya replied.
Tonya called my phone with the news. I wasn't trying to hear that shit. I didn't want to believe it. Just as the day was flowing like water, the call about Kelly being hit, robbed, and beaten, didn't digest. The first thing that came to our minds was Tonya's ex. And that's just what it was.
We all met at the hospital. Kelly was lying there damn near lifeless. She was hooked up to machines with tubes coming from everywhere. Her face was almost bashed in. Patches of her hair had been ripped out. Her eyes were swollen shut. Most of her skin was gone. The doctor said that she had about a hundred three broken bones. And that she was possibly paralyzed, if she would ever even wake up. Two of her fingers were gone. As well as all of her teeth knocked out. This shit was unreal.
Kelly's mother was there. It looked as if her world came crashing down. She didn't say a word. She just looked at her baby lying there and cried. She held Kelly's hand as tears fell by the dozens. It was the saddest thing I had ever seen. It was as though you could hear her talking to God, begging to spare Kelly's life.
It was hurtful. Why did this mother have to see her baby in this condition? We all felt the anguish of seeing Kelly this way. But we couldn't put ourselves in the place of the mother before us afraid to face the fact that her daughter might die.
Officers came in to give details of the incidents that took place. It was the doing of Tonya's ex, like we expected. He thought that Kelly was Tonya. He had two females and a male with him. Kelly was picking up cleaning from the launderers. Not in his vicinity. He is a person that is everywhere all the time. He knows a lot of people, everywhere.
The ex and the male were picking up two females for a casual afternoon rendezvous when he spotted Tonya's car. Just so happens, it was the same male that brought him to the house to get his things. The ex, followed Kelly a few miles until the street was basically clear of traffic. He bumped the tail of the car Kelly drove. She spun to the left as a car was oncoming, then swirved off to the right side of the road losing control of the car.
