Makes me want to go to Peru!
really enjoyed Lost City of the Condor. It had lots of interesting facts on the Incan and Peruvian culture that was fun to read about. The authors did a great job describing the scenery. It makes you feel as if you are there in the Andes with Arla. Very good book! Amazon reader --Sunflower
A Great Mystery, a Great Adventure
Archeologist Arla Vaughn finds herself in serious trouble when she attempts to locate a long lost Inca city. She is opposed by a violent, unknown source and is unable to trust any of her associates at the university. With great skill this very appealing character faces many difficult challenges. I have traveled to Peru and was pleased with the way the authors recreated Peru in this novel. This is truly a great mystery and a great adventure!

Arla Vaughn is an archeologist that is drawn into a search for the Golden Condor of the Inca's by a man she didn't know from his death bed. When Arla arrives in Peru she is kidnapped, shot at, lied to and not sure who to trust, on top of everything else she must find out if her missing friend is dead or alive. This is a book that I read in two days, because I could not put it down. I must get the rest of the Pre-Columbian Treasure Series to continue the journey. This author has a wonderful grasp of the history and the geography of the area.
