They meet at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY, and Leo falls madly for Katie. But she wouldn't be caught dead with a cowboy, no, she was brought up well-to-do, cowboys have no place in her life. She has her sights on Swedish Olympian, Lars Knepfel, and a European scholarship to train with him.
When things get complicated, Katie returns to the U.S. and accidentally crosses paths with Leo. Each refuses to give into their emotions, until one night, a passion storm roars through a small Texas town.

I thought this book was great.I enjoyed the storyline very much and the way Katie and Leo's relationship evolved couldn't have been written any better.I was also happy to see the character of Katie change from a spoiled rich girl into a more humble,caring person.

As a habit I am into Westerns(Louis L'Amour in particular)but when the Author who is a friend of my suggested this book to me I thought what the heck I'll buy it for my wife because she would enjoy it, little did I know that when I went to glance at it that I would be hooked, but hooked I was,I found this book to be highly enjoyable and hard to lay down once I started, the story line was quite easy for me to follow in that every thing that it talked about, location wise I could identify with, having raised and trained quarter horses,worked cattle and gone to Dressage and Hunter class shows,I have now found myself in the position of waiting with great anticipation for her next romance novella which she is currently working on and all this comes from an old hard nosed cowboy and if your smart you'll try it, Happy reading and Happy trails.
