“Burt if you run over my foot one more time with that contraption, I am going to unplug your battery!” says Birdie looking at her sore foot.
Burt looks at Birdie, “I’m sorry Birdie, but if you were not hovering over me maybe I could manipulate this thing a bit better!”
Birdie puts her hands on her hips, offering her opinion on the situation, “I will give you hovering Mr. Smarty Pants, and let’s see what happens next time you run over my foot! “
Burt and Birdie begin laughing realizing how silly they are for getting all heated up over something so minor. Birdie gets “the look” and Burt can see she is going to bring up the race again.
