Earth is now home to a population of angels. They had arrived after the storm of earthquakes and volcanos forced the humans away.

Angels are much like us, only with wings. Elleria Marie Soepheea (Elle) is a typical teen with typical issues: Goals, dreams, romance, fashion and college. She just happens to be an angel.

Drekavac spirits torment the angels, and giant vultures hunt them at night. Yet life goes on in the angelic towns and cities of the world. Elle has her favorite stores, frozen yogurt and coffee shops, and loves to spend time with her boyfriend and her quirky sister, the cake addict, Angelica Marie (Angie).

Elle begins to realize the depth of her purpose is much deeper than fashion, friends and fun. She is on a path to change the world. But how can a teen angel manage such responsibility? The answers crawl out of the dark, and a question enters her mind: Do humans actually exist? Her scientist boyfriend, Vyn, is on the verge of a discovery (if he can survive long enough) that could even the odds with the hunters and give the mythical humans a fighting chance.
