Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and wild ones of all ages Step right up, I welcome you to come on in and read, Sting In The Tale, a book about W.A.S.P. , the most underated rock band of the 80's, written by a fan for the fans.
If you know me, you'll know I've been a fan since i first saw the video, "Live At The Lyceum" in 84, since then I have collected all sorts by the band, and this book is a great addition to my collection.
This is the first ever Bio about the band and it tells you just what happened with all those bands changes and why they happened, it answer's questions you always wanted to know, some of them ones I didn't know, It tells you how,and what, things happened backstage and other stuff , which i wont spoil for you.
The writer, Darren Upton, has managed to get some great interviews with some of the past members of W.A.S.P. and his in depth questions really bring it home to you just how things were in the band and how Blackie was ,on and off stage.The interviews also let you get an insight of how things rolled and how these guys got along and how each one comes across to you the reader.Also is a bio of all the records ever made by the band and some amazing facts about each one which will amaze you.
With some great picture's too, this book is the dogs and is a must for all W.A.S.P. fans and those who like a good read about a great rock band, who are still treading the boards today and have a great tour lined up for next year...
