“So you’re planning to propose to another man?” Was that why she frowned at him when he arrived? Had he interrupted her proposal to Tad?
The wrath he’d experience since arriving at her house morphed into a sizzling rage. His nerve endings tingled, and his hands curled into fists. He fought the urge to grab her by the shoulders and shake her until she came to her senses. Beautiful, sexy, and wealthy beyond most peoples’ imagination, any man would be glad to marry her. But would he love her? Her kids? And take care of all of them.
“Do you want to be some guy’s sugar momma?”
Tears sparkled in her eyes before she swiveled on her heels and marched through the back door.
Jason grabbed the railing, ready to go after her.
The door slammed.
Stunned, he froze, and his words ricocheted back in his face and registered in his head.

Birth is a heartwarming story
The second book of Tina Gayle's Executive Wives series, BIRTH is a riveting story of a woman with numerous problems. Brie has just had a baby, has lost her husband in the last year, and is suffering from postpartum depression. Talk about stress. She isn't a kick butt kind of gal, but she comes up with a plan to tackle her problems.
Find a husband, she decides since she's the marrying kind. Jason Clark is recovering from the loss of a loved one, in his case his dad. They both have issues, but as the story progresses, they help each other become more independent. Brie grows into a confident woman. Jason, having gone through life solo so far, realizes how much he wants a family.
Tina Gayle not only builds a caring relationship between the two, but she also includes a cast of characters that the reader can love and look forward to their stories in the future Executive Wives Club. As an author, there is nothing more to ask for but more delightful stories in Tina Gayle's successful series.

I've been reading Tina Gayle for years and this book, in particular, really touched me. My girlfriend lost her husband last year and was left with two children. She had to learn very quickly how to cope and carry on like Brie, the main character. It was also touching to see her friends rally to her side with support and comfort.
I also appreciated the relationship between Jason and Brie. Learning to love again after such heartache and stress is no small achievement, especially with children involved.
I'm glad this book is part of a series.
A New Life, A New Birth
Wow, what more could go wrong for Brie? A new baby, a widow less than a year, and postpartum depression, she has some real issues. I fell in love with this character in book one - Revive. Brie is not the strongest woman of the group but she truly cares about others. And when she needs her friends they are there for her.
The struggles she has with her kids and family are heart breaking at times. What mother can't relate?
Great book, looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
