"You're silly." Amanda told Jim with a giggle, when he opened the car door for her in the school parking lot.
"Thanks." Jim looked down at her and held his arm out to escort her across the drive and into the school gym. "And you're beautiful."
Amanda blushed, smiled, and took Jim's arm. She was excited. Her first prom. Wow! And she was just a freshman.
They were about to enter the gym, when to Amanda's bewilderment. Sarah came rushing out and grabbed Amanda's arm.
"What's up?" Amanda thought Sarah was acting a little weird to say the least.
"I have to talk to you." Sarah pulled at Amanda's arm. "Now." She commanded.
