Amanda modeled at the mall. She let the photographer (Mitch Jackson) think that she was eighteen. She signed papers releasing her photos. She thought they would end up in the trash, but much to her suprise, they ended up on the cover of Vogel magazine. Now Mitch Jackson wants her to model again and is offering her an enormous sum of money. Her mother doesn't know. What will she tell her mother? Rose crossed the room and sat down. "How long have you been doing this?"
"I modeled one other time, at the mall." Amanda told her. "My photo was on the front cover of Vogel Magazine."
Rose nodded her head. "I'll have to say, I'm impressed. And now you're going to be on the cover again modeling Julie Girl Fashions?"
"Yeah," Amanda leaned back in the chair feeling a little more relaxed now talking to Rose. "And the center spread"
"You signed papers." Rose kicked her shoes off.
"Yes."
"You're not old enough to sign legal documents." Rose commented.
Amanda sat up in the chair.
"Did you even kow what papers you were signing?" Rose questioned.
"It was papers releasing my photos." Amanda responded.
"How do you know?" Rose questioned her. "You didn't even read them. You just signed where Mitch told you to sign."
"I trust Mitch." Amanda informed her. "I signed papers before."
"As I said; you're too young to sign any kind of legal document. You have to be eighteen to sign legal documents. Does your mother know about this?"
Amanda picked up the pen that she had just signed the papers with and scribbled circles on a piece of paper that lay on the desk. "No. She doesn't know anything about this."
"That's what I suspected." Rose stared at Amanda. Don't you think that you ought to tell her?"
Amanda looked up and Rose looked her directly in the face. "Amanda, I think you need to tell her. You have to tell her."
