“Gathering for Goddess, a Complete Manual for Priestessing Women’s Circles” is impressive in more ways than I anticipated. With 590 pages and offering 24 different deities and loads of occult and Wiccan information, I felt fortunate to have come across this work. I don’t know of many other books that offer what Gathering for Goddess offers within its pages. This book is chock full of insight and wisdom related to one woman’s journey and experience, priestessing for the Sacred Feminine. It offers original invocations, poems, spells, Goddess lessons and a nice collection of scripted meditations and Pagan related articles - most of which I truly enjoyed. I love the way the author relates these numerous ancient deities to our own struggles in our modern world and most uniquely are the author’s actual dreams and scattered journal entries that give this voluminous work a different twist because along with being a reference book it also lets you peak into the life and challenges of a Priestess’ on a spiritual journey to gather women in “Her” honor. “Gathering for Goddess” promotes women coming together and exalting the Sacred Feminine/the Goddess in her many guises, including within modern day women.
