Are you longing to discover the purpose in your pain? Pain provides discomfort and can be used to prohibit one from fulfilling one’s purpose. However, God will use your pain to help you discover your deep sense of purpose. God has crafted a purpose for every one of His people: something unique that only you can accomplish for Him in this lifetime. Using people’s pain God reveals their gifts and strength for His purpose. When a person taps into the purpose of his or her pain, he or she is ready to walk in their spiritual destiny.
Satan had a plan of execution and a plot to destroy me from the time of conception. But God kept death from silencing me in a cold grave. I should not have been born at all, doctors said, or would have profound handicaps, but neither proved true. The testimonies revealed through my pain will encourage others to find the purpose in their pain by developing a relationship with God. My life story will challenge people to rise above the ashes of life and pursue their spiritual destiny. My testimonies compel people to increase their faith in God as they serve him. These powerful testimonies reveal pain, humiliation, a death sentence, and destiny. I will inspire others through biblical scriptures and testimonies that God can remove a death sentence. My life story will reassure broken vessels that God can restore, rebuild, and replenish them to use for his perfect will.
As you seek your purpose it is natural to ask the questions: “What is my purpose?” and “Why am I here?” Jesus told us that He came to give us life so that we might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10). It is evident through my life story that in order to fulfill one’s purpose one must grasp and understand the nuggets that God provides as we stop at each destination on our way to our ordained place. As you travel with me to each destination, you will experience strength, boldness, and will be able to communicate your faith to help you use your pain to fulfill your purpose. One nugget that I have grasped onto at my destination of a death sentence is “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17). I now understand I was destined for greatness however I had to travel through pain, humiliation, and death to arrive to my ordained place.
My testimonies will echo the biblical account of God speaking to the Prophet Jeremiah revealing to us before each one of us were conceived in our mother’s womb He prepared “purpose” for our lives. One will gain valuable insight to know that moving toward purpose may include a journey through pain, humiliation, and a death sentence but at the endpoint one will come out strong and courageous.
The story of my life will provide you with faith, strength, and resources to move toward the assignment that God has designed precisely for you. You will become empowered to accomplish your unique assignment God has tailored for your abilities as you discover you are something special, something mighty, and something unique.
My testimonies become a training ground where God reminds His people of His loving care he has for them. In every trial I endure God never forsakes me. In baking a cake there are many ingredients that makes the cake taste great. I was destined for greatness but in molding me my ingredients included pain, humiliation, and a death sentence. I could have asked God to take me out of the trial early, but when one takes a cake out the oven before it is done it does not taste the same. In other words, the nugget that I have gained and leave with you is “When we seek early release from our trials, we never reach our full potential or destiny-just like a cake half-baked from the oven”.
