The 4th Reich takes the reader into the daily lives of an aristocratic German family at the inception of the Third Reich under the oversight of Hitler and his Nazi Party.  In 1940 the patriarch of this family and several other thoughtful citizens come to the conclusion that Germany is likely to lose the Second World War.  These rich and powerful men jointly decide to band together to initiate another path toward world domination through scientific research.  The 4th Reich series follows their progress through the remainder of the war and beyond, into the lives of the next generation and a new and very different world.
