Fifteen year old, Peter Stewart, makes a promise to his dying grandfather to find Island Unknown- a legendary island that is supposed to have buried treasure.
Island Unknown is about fifteen year old Peter Stewart who lives in Florida the mid 1800's. After building a fishing boat with his grandfather, Peter learns that his own father had not been lost at sea twelve years earlier, but died trying to find treasure on a mysterious island in the Bermuda Triangle.
While on his deathbed, the Peter's grandfather has him promise to find the treasure sometime in his life. Peter must withstand the ridicule of town bully, Leech Myers, and battle a hurricane while sailing to find the treasure of the mysterious Island Unknown. Spoiler alert: there are pirates in this story.
