Eriana would never think of taking a life, even a beast. She is a white sorceress and a protector, just like her mother. She spends her days reading and loves a great story in which everyone lives happily ever after. But little does she realize, her and Torva's story... will be the greatest of them all.
Excerpt
Eriana says, "I will not attack, "she pauses for a moment, looks at Balanath and softly says, "I am sorry father, but I cannot take a life, man or beast."
A very worried look comes over Eriana's face and Balanath walks over to her and kneels in front of her.
Balanath says in a comforting tone, "I know how you feel about this Eriana, but remember that the creatures the dark sorcerers create are not truly alive," he pauses for a moment, "the time may come when you will have to choose between taking a life, or seeing one of us lose ours."
