My God has used me as one of his vessels to express my feelings in poems. My poems are my reflections of my inner feelings, thoughts, and expressions, which I may not have shared with that particular individual, but God allowed me to express my emotions in words of praise. These poems were spiritually conceived and embodied deep within my soul; whereas, I wrote each poem with strong, deeply felt emotion, as I conveyed my inner most thoughts about that person.
Each poem I have written, I felt there was a moving spirit within me; it was my total self, a strong positive feeling as though it was of intense sensitivity and emotional fervor being conveyed as I wrote each poem. As I would end one poem and begin another poem they all would become more profound as I would write about my childhood friends, my years at St. Jude Catholic Educational Institute, schoolmates, family members, life's adventures, time spent in the military, old church days at First Baptist Church in Hope Hull, Alabama, or just people I ran into on a daily basis and did not even know, whatever, God put on my heart, I expressed and formulated my thoughts in poems that came from deep within my soul. I have lived each and every poem day by day.
May God bless each of you in a special way as you read from "From My Soul to Yours"; I hope you feel the spirit of God moving through your soul as I felt him moving through my soul as I wrote these poems.
