Tracey swooned at the sight of Shay Donovan's muscular body, but is he the answer to all her problems?
Tracey Smith needed an escape. Living in a council flat with her seven year old son and abusive boyfriend, her life was far from perfect. She needed a real man, someone big and strong who would worship the ground she walked on. Then she saw Shay Donovan's photograph. He was perfect, deep tan, huge muscles, rock solid six pack and come to bed eyes. He was all the inspiration she needed to start writing her erotic novel. It started out as pure fantasy but life can be stranger than fiction and she never dreamed it could set her free.

Tracey leaned forward to get a better view of the laptop screen. Her heart started to beat a little faster as her eyes traced the contours of his deeply tanned skin. His chest was broad and smooth and his muscles were taught as he posed. His six pack was to die for, as if it had been carved from marble in the image of a God, not the flesh of a mere mortal. Her lip quivered at the thought of running her perfectly manicured fingers over his torso, just touching him, pressing her body against his and breathing him in.
He was perfect, completely and utterly perfect. A fireman's helmet was cradled under one arm and his black trousers were slung so low that they were barely clinging to his hips. It made her wonder what kind of package they were concealing. The colour of the sky only seemed to intensify the hue of his pale blue eyes. It was as if he were staring right at her, wanting her, no, needing her! She'd let him rescue her anytime. In fact she might even start a fire on purpose just to get his attention. Would that make him angry? No, he'd forgive her in an instant as he carried her to safety, sweeping her long blonde hair from her face and asking, "Are you okay, ma'am?"
Tracey leaned back from her laptop screen. She tucked her short, brown hair behind her ear and yawned. Glancing at the clock she noticed it was nearly 2 o'clock in the morning. How did it get to be that time already? She'd tucked Daniel in at half past eight and sat down to work on her novel. Her cheese sandwich lay half eaten on the plate beside her, the mug of cocoa untouched and now stone cold. It was Tuesday, Daniel would need his PE kit and she hadn't made his packed lunch yet. She'd best get to bed if she was going to get everything sorted in the morning.
Just one more look before bed, got to have something to dream about...
