If you like Nicholas Sparks then you will love Julie Brown's new book. I read it on an airplane and didn't want the flight to end until I could finish it. Keeps you engaged throughout the book, and the characters truly come alive!
Perfect Holiday Read
My daughter insisted I read The Long Dance Home , and since my book club usually reads serious, lengthy works, I decided to take a break and try a lighter read for a change. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a sweet blend of romance, humor, and heartbreak. Passing it on to my 84 year old mother - she will love it. And buying a few more copies to give to the women in my office for Christmas.
Really Enjoyed This Book!
I read this back in December and it was the perfect holiday story... (but don't wait til the holidays to read it)! Well written, wonderful character development, believable dialogue and overall a very fun, heart-warming story. I couldn't put this down once I started and think this would be a story that people of all ages can enjoy. A few other reviewers mentioned that the dialogue was great and read like a movie, and that the Hallmark channel should make this into a Christmas special - I totally agree! I told my husband the exact same thing while I was reading it, except I actually think this is BETTER than most of the stuff I've seen on the Hallmark channel, haha :) In short, I really enjoyed this book and recommend it 100%.
