Excerpt
The room is dark when Steel wakes up. His mouth is so dry that his tongue has shriveled like the snow on Kilimanjaro. Desperate for a drink, he reaches for a glass on the bedside table but can’t move his hand. Disoriented, Steel thinks he’s paralyzed. His other hand is immobilized too. As his eyes adjust to the gloom of the room, the realization hits — his wrists have been restrained. This is the worst moment of the weightlifter’s life. He tries to scream his frustration but all that comes out of his Death Valley dry mouth is a raspy croak. The only moisture he can muster begins filling his eyes, then flows down the puffy cheeks. To his horror, Steel realizes he is crying. Tears stain his skin like a smoker’s yellowed teeth. Silent sobs shake the oversized body. Steel can do nothing to stop the horrible female hormones controlling his emotions.
The iron pumper reawakens, feeling refreshed. The disturbing emotional tide seems to have ebbed. Now, he can use his cool-thinking, logical man’s brain to assess the situation. He’s got to get off this ship. Go home and hack into The Brain Exchange’s files, find the woman and drag her ass back so he can reclaim his body and return to his life. He’s going to be totally calm and in control. It’s the only way to deal with these ocean-going assholes.
“Good evening.” The voice emanating from the massive black-skinned man is basso profundo.
“Get me outta here now,” Steel screams in reply. “I want to talk to whoever’s in charge. Right now. I want these restraints off immediately. I want outta this bed. Off this ship! DO YOU HEAR ME?” His voice cracks and he breaks down. Gut-wrenching sobs fill the room’s silence. So much for restraint.

The Brain Exchange
This book is an epic of sexual proportions. A mix-up at The Brain Exchange has left one client ecstatic and the other in misery. There are so many twists and turns that I, usually great at solving mysteries, was kept guessing, many of which were way off target. Loved the fact that I was constantly surprised by scenes I didn't see coming. I also liked how the author switched back and forth between the two protagonists, sometimes using a couple of pages--others, only a brief paragraph or two. I'd definitely recommend this page-turner to readers who enjoy suspense, the unexpected, humor and sex!

I think The Brain Exchange is a great idea. I mean, aren't we all curious as to how the other half lives? When I got this book, the only thing I knew for sure was there would be a lot of sex. But in between all the various positions, partners & places, including outer space, the story is so satisfying as well. The author takes you on a wild rollercoaster ride after the two main characters, Amana & Steel, exchange brains. The back-and-forth action between them was on the fast track, and the many plot twists were hair-raising. I really liked the scenes at Club SXXX, would love to go there one day--today even?! Shouldn't give too much away, but this book seemed like a movie to me & if one ever gets made, let's hope it will be as good as the book.

This book would have been wonderful with or without the sex. The idea is just brilliant. I couldn't make up my mind if it was erotica or science fiction, but it doesn't matter. It is a great story with an ending that is just so cool that it still leaves you guessing. Great work.
