Silicon Valley is known for being the bubbling cauldron where wealth and fortune are born daily. The raw power of success prevails and greed runs deep. As usual, J. A. Jackson reminds us of the best and worst in human nature as our heroine Camille seeks the love she so desperately desires amidst cruel treachery and deceit. Unforgettable!

Enjoy the writing by J. A.Jackson
Having recently finished another book by J. A. Jackson, I enjoyed his writing style so much I decided to look her up and see what else she had to offer. I came across Mistress of Desire & The Orchid Lover, and knew immediately that I had to purchase it. I am equally as impressed with this one as I was with the other one, even though these two books are pretty different from one another. The writing style of this author just blows me away, and has me completely hooked.
A Great Piece of Fiction
Jackson has created a strange tint to Silicon Valley in this novel that took me by surprise. I spend so much time researching and writing about tech companies and the next big thing, an interest in the landscape has definitely bled over into my literary tastes. As such, a book with this sort of premise definitely grabbed my attention and didn't let go. Camille was quite a captivating figure at the heart of this story,
Not your usual romance
With a cast of quirky characters and a unique plot, The Mistress of Desire & The Orchid made for an engaging read that kept me glued to the pages all the way through. It's clear that Jackson has a passion for the location and settings, which lends the story an authenticity that's often lacking in fiction.
