Lily Liver's On the Ball
Lily Liver spotted dog
can’t play catch and fetch,
she runs away when balls are thrown,
running at full stretch.
Boomerang black labrador
doggedly retrieves,
he watches where the balls are thrown,
fetching them for Jeeves.
Two Pi R dalmatian dog
doesn’t want to play,
she wouldn’t want to fetch the balls
her owner throws away.
Lily Liver's On the Run
Lily Liver spotted dog
trots along the path
though the river runs beside her,
she doesn’t want a bath.
Two Pi R dalmatian dog
trotting like a toff
is careful not to fall in,
in case her spots wash off.
Billy Brown the border collie’s
waiting at his gate
for the dilly-dally dallies
to keep their daily date.
Lily Liver's On the Plate
Lily Liver spotted dog’s
always waiting till
it’s round about her dinnertime
with lots of spots to fill.
Two Pi R dalmatian dog
waits around all day
watching out for table scraps
that might fall her way.
But after getting underfoot
it’s not long before
dinner’s lying on their plates,
dinner’s on the floor.
Lily Liver's On the Call
Lily Liver spotted dog
barks hello, hello
so for dogs it’s different from
goodbye, I’ve got to go.
Wrinkling, crinkling up her nose
doesn’t make a din,
it shows off the toothiness
of the dally grin.
Two Pi R dalmatian dog
barks to tell her owner
someone’s rapping at the door
or they ring to phone her.
