Wayne Frazier is a guy who is clueless about the trouble heading his way.   It’s one think if he’d broken the law or gotten fired from his job, but his wife is getting on him about the fact that he does not regularly attend church.  In his mind, whether or not one goes to church is no big deal.  Too bad he doesn’t yet know that he has stirred up a hornet’s nest of trouble by not listening to his wife.  And to make matter worse, he will learn the hard way that there are very serious consequences when one does not truly understand why Christians of all people should go to church. 

Accompanying Wayne Frazier on his unintended voyage of discovery is a quirky cast of characters.  Horace, a banana nut muffin loving car salesman is a mysterious man with the moves few women can resist.  Difficult to pin down, Wayne can’t figure out if Horace is a friend or just a nuisance.   Josephine, Wayne’s long lost niece he didn’t know about, is a woman struggling with anger issues.  Reverend Edwards, a serious preacher with mad juggling skills, provides much needed spiritual guidance for Wayne’s unanticipated journey of revelation.  Lori, Wayne’s long-time nemesis, repeatedly goes out of her way to threaten Wayne’s marriage and peace of mind.  But maybe her evil acts toward Wayne may actually end up helping him snap back to his senses.  Concerning the elusive, but sexy Monique, will Wayne give in to her seductive and alluring ways or will he come to his senses before it is too late and remain faithful to his wife?   Also included in this entertaining novel are a wise cracking man with the deep voice whose sarcastic comments almost cause a fight and a bellman with a bad attitude who seems more interested in creating conflict than on earning tips.
