A Fun Christmas Vacation Tale!
Sharon Kleve's short story, Flamingo Blues, stars Corny - a woman who can hear what animals are really saying about those around them. She also has an understanding boyfriend named Steve, who helps her with some of the animals in need. But Cory's desire to help a flock of flamingos make it back to their lake by Christmas may get her into trouble. Flamingo Blues is a very cute, funny, light-hearted, uplifting read. Perfect for the holidays or any time throughout the year. Very enjoyable!
Cute Holiday Read
This was a cute holiday short story. Corny has the ability to understand and talk to animals, and when a flamingo tells her his flock had been stolen from their home, she realizes she needs to help them. Screwball comedy and likable characters make Flamingo Blues a fast, light read.
Entertaining and Fun
This is a fun, light-hearted book! Corny, the main character, is hilarious and her animal insights are entertaining. I am looking forward to more of her escapades in the future!
